Being made from 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc, it has a soft, plummy taste suggestive of blackcurrants and other dark fruits, with hints of oak, mocha and vanilla. Its complex palate, and the rich, dark colour delivered by the Cabernet Franc make it an elegant, perfectly balanced wine with smooth, ripe tannins.
