Description: |
Chile's Central Valley, with its Mediterranean climate of long, dry summers and high temperatures, provides the ideal conditions for grape-growing. This wine is made from Carmanere, a grape normally used in the production of Claret. The leaves are carefully removed from the vines to ensure the grapes are exposed to only the morning sun, for optimum ripening. The result is a bright, intense ruby red colouring, with rich aromas of black fruits and spices like pepper, coupled with subtle notes of vanilla and cinnamon, delivering a full-bodied flavour with ripe and soft tannins and a long, lingering finish. This is a full bodied red wine. |
